Third Party Programs

The rise of the third party program is sort of like the a la carte option. These programs are connected to a student’s home university via an intermediate entity known as a “school of record” (SOR).

Though the home university may host study abroad forums, which include third party programs, the home university has no responsibility for them, and may have no on-the-ground knowledge of them.
