Telling the stories
PSA advocates for honoring the dead by telling their stories.
Human beings are capable of absorbing great loss. What we will not tolerate is loss of meaning. By not telling the stories of our children as deceased students, they are stripped of more than life. They are stripped of death’s meaning.
We honor the memory of these students by speaking their truth—all of it.
Through their stories, we personalize student safety issues. This can motivate industry change, and thus, benefit future students.
